TPG only offers one price for its services and no customer receives discounts for her broadband connection. TPG stands by its pricing structure and believe that they are quite competitive in the ISP market.
We understand how you feel. Unfortunately, we are unable to waive the change of plan fee as we have to cover the costs associated with this. Please be aware that TPG relies on a third party provider who assists in making these changes and adjustments happen. Because of this, we incur a fee which we then bring forward to the customer.
Please also note that the administration fee and contract restart are part of our Terms and Conditions when it comes to relocation of your service. You may go to http://www.tpg.com.au/terms_conditions/adsl.php for reference.
Unfortunately, due to technical limitation, the free Wifi Modem is only offered to new customer who will avail the Unlimited ! ADSL2+ with Home Phone bundle with a Super Chat service. Therefore, you will not receive a free modem rather a discounted Wireless 4 Port Router for $50.
