1. What did you do to improve the accounting processes?
这个已经在至少3次面试中被问了，结果都没成功。肯定答案不够满意了。

2. How do you find errors in the journals in the reconciliation?
这个。。不就reconcile嘛，真不知道要怎么答。。在上次面试中被问，结果failed.

现在真没多少信心再申请工作了，最近在专心攻读cpa...

第二个问题。分为两块，how you quick target error; typical error journals in different accounts.

这个问题很老道，没做过很容易被发现。完全需要实践经验来回答。你上次说review invoices 肯定是不够的，有时候需要很多supporting docs作为一个journals的支持。让你举个例子就出洋相了。。

For the first one, you may provide an example like this: 1. Reporting -- After getting familiar with the XXX accounting process, I have improved the process by creating the favorites and macros to create the reports automatically, this helps to company to reduce the XXX reporting by XXX days/hours; 2. Process -- There were XXX steps from XXX to XXX, after investigating it, I found out that only XXX steps were required.  This reduced the communication time between the divisions and improved the working efficency in XXX process.

For the second one, I believe what you have done currently is the correct way.  Just clearly explain the process how you do it.  For example, you check it from the total figures --> check it in the transaction level.

如果做过其实就理个思路说一下。没做过的，how could do the way is correct way ?

楼主在等人给答案，上场去背书。

pr,rv,exp,dp,st journals review时候每个人都有自己的办法。考官就等你说出你的办法来证明你的经验。

我并不是在等背书，只是希望有人提供一个思路，和example, 每个公司的做法肯定都不太一样的，我也不确定我现在做的是不是规范的，我就是觉得reconcile就是像5楼说的，先对总数，再一级级的对账下去，但我以为这样的答案不是面试官想要的，我就是感觉这种东西是不是too easy to explain, 感觉像common sense..

你好像也很不相信我是有经验的啊，既然你都这样觉得，面试管肯定也这样觉得了，看来我表述真的很有问题。。我感觉我现在的boss也不是非常的有什么方法论的。。也可能我经验不够，但我要的只是aa的职位，不是accountant, 必然也达不到什么evel..我总以为这些问题是要我说出多么高深和精妙的methodology..

我现在在做casual, 现在主要帮助finance manager做budgeting，但financial accounting的东西是上一份工作有做过，只是bookkeeper，很多东西不正规的，我也很想学习，我想做financial accounting， 所以也是希望能学习交流，可能很多东西，没人跟我讲，我就不知道，或者做也是就是做，感觉accounts的东西就是这样，reconcile, 用各种方法investigate， 然后调整journals, 然后play around with excel, 真要我说多么高深的方法论之类的，，我说不出来。所以如果有人告诉我，我再留心，就明白自己或别人在做什么了。在finance team里也都是分工，我没有接触所有的东西，可是我很好奇，也很希望有机会做。

其实你缺的是运气。

因为经验不足，所以说起来比较单薄。

或者换种方式问你，比如bk ,fixed assets recon 注意些什么？你如何能快速的target source variance?诸如此类。

做预算是一个很好的经验。说不定可以以后做MA。

你就说说你们预算的流程吧。从什么地方开始，什么地方结束吧。

只有你说来你认为自己在面试里会说的，大家才能帮助你，不是么？
