Sorry...but anyone here worrking as a Fund/ Investment Accountant?

Sorry guys...I know I shouldn't ask these kind of questions in here... but this is the best section to go to though

I'm considering if I should take up an Investment Accountant role at one of the big4 banks in melb...

But i've been researching about these kind of roles....seems the exit opportunities are not that great....but it's also great as one can work for IB or PE firms later on if experienced enough...

Any TX working in those roles now ? How's it like ? Is it like working in a corporate factory / at the production line ? As i'm currently working in those kinda role..pumping out credit/ lending submissions for businesbanking...getting sick of corporate factory job in which Quantity and Quality are of equal importance plus have to do proactive beyond core tasks stuff...it's crazy...

any input would be much appreciated !!!
