Java, Oracle Solaris, MySQL and Other Former Sun Certification Exam Registrations Now Available At Pearson VUE                        

As announced in a previous communication, beginning today - Java, Oracle Solaris, MySQL, and NetBeans certification exams are now available for registration through our new test delivery vendor — Pearson VUE — and are no longer available through Prometric testing centers. Candidates can now visit pearsonvue.com/oracle to find more information, register for an exam or locate a testing center in their area.

Oracle exam vouchers authorized for Prometric testing centers will continue to be valid at Pearson VUE until the printed voucher expiration date.

ACTION REQUIRED

It is important that you complete the following steps to create your Pearson VUE web account to enable your previous Prometric account to migrate over as your new Pearson VUE web account:

Create Your Pearson VUE Web Account

Select MyAccount on pearsonvue.com/oracle and select Create A New Web Account and follow the prompts to create a profile and enter your contact information. Refer to these detailed steps for reference.
Input the information below exactly as shown when creating your Pearson VUE Web Account for the Oracle Certification Program.

Create a Web Account: Profile

First Name (Given Name): XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Last Name (Surname): XXXXXXXXXXXXX
Email Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
City: Melbourne
Oracle Testing ID (Prometric ID): XXXXXXXXXXXXX
Under the Section titled: Previous Testing History
Have you tested with the Oracle Certification Program before? Select, Yes
Enter your Oracle Testing ID as listed above in the text box provided.
IMPORTANT: You must enter your profile and Oracle Testing ID as it is listed above. The Pearson VUE system will perform an automated process to match (1) the record you are creating with (2) the record that was received from Oracle’s previous testing vendor, Prometric. Once your account is created, you will have the option to update your profile information as desired. If Pearson VUE is unable to match your profile and contact information, you will be placed in a queue and will be contacted by Pearson VUE within 72 hours for verification.
