Sorry nope.
R u IT grad ?
What kind of company?
I think maybe network admin or web developer in digital media company is a better start out option if you are not in a hurry.
The reason is project management is involved in every deal. All my mates with that exp are getting good exposures but low wages in the first 2 years but what comes after the first few miserable years is solid language and project management experiences plus BIG BIG financial reward.
Anyway, from my experience, I can tell you for sure CONFIDENCE is the key.
Mgrs just want the candidate to have logical quick thinking plus confidence.
So even if you didnt do sth before, tell it like you really did it or have it.
You might not appreciate how important confidence is for looking for job when starting out.
That said, you've gotta prepare the interview with STAR Format like what they teach on Melb Uni's career website on Behavioural Questions.
come up with some answers according to some real or made-up situations and apply the STAR in your answers and memorise them before int.
Anticipate any follow-up questions that interviewer might have for you after you gave the response to him so tackle your preparation in this way.
CUSTOMER SERVICE / Team work/ Working with difficult team member and customers/ how did you show initiative at work or life / time management / How du solve technical problem
these are typical for behavioural questions for your role ithink. infact all roles.... |
