Some staff have reported receiving messages from AMEX requesting update of contact details. These messages are a hoax and you should not follow the links. Similar scams have been attempted using the name of other banks or other Government agencies in the recent past and have been widely reported in the press. In all cases, you are reminded to NEVER respond to an email message purporting to come from a Bank or Government agent asking you to verify online banking registration numbers and/or passwords etc. If you have responded to the email please contact your local office AMEX representative as soon as possible
