可怜的卫冕冠军Del Potro，因手腕受伤，已停赛７个月，这次无法卫冕了。
Federer通过努力，卫冕了Cincinnati的大师赛，总算是将世界排名提升到第二，以二号种子入主下半赛区。
Nadal已拿下今年的法网和温网，势如猛虎，他能否拿下美网这个他唯一没有赢取的大满贯呢？

Fed did depend his cincinnati crown but the final went for 3 sets, two of which went to tie-break - it should not be the case for the Fed before.

Nadal seems a little bit down at the moment but he will for sure put everything he has got into winning the only GS he has not won yet.

Novak and Andy Murray?  Dont know.  I enjoy watching them play as well, even though i am not a fan of them.

Anyway, hope Fed can win.

No offence to all Nadal fans.

US open coverage is only available on Fox Sports 2 i think.

Go to your nearest RSL club, they should have Fox.

Hewitt is beaten in the first round after a 5 set match. He lost the first 2 sets but won the next 2 only to lost in the 5th.

Soderling is almost beaten in the first round after a 5 set match. He won the first 2 sets, but lost the next 2 and won a tight 5th set.

Djokovic (seeded 3) is almost beaten in the first round after a 5 set match. He won the first set, but lost the next 2 sets, he was a break down (1-3) in the 4th set, before fighting back to win the 4th and the 5th set.

In form player Baghdatis (seeded 16) is beaten in the first round after a 5 set match. He lost the first set but won the next 2 only to lose in the 4th and 5th. His opponent is 32 years old veteran Clement. Very surprising.

Federer's half seems tougher as Andy Murray is crashed out Nadal's half.

It seems like Nadal could smooth into Final and is having a huge chance to win the final if he won't be facing Federer.
