The Senior Project Manager - Energy will be required to take full accountability for the successful delivery of large and complex energy performance projects for HBS projects team. The primary focus of this position will be on the delivery of major building systems such as mechanical plant, onsite energy generation and technology upgrades in buildings that are currently occupied.

Working as an integral part of the HBS team, you responsibilities will include:
Management of the development of detailed project deliverable specifications in a "design build" environment for large complex mechanical systems and on-site power generation.
Maintaining overall responsibility for the delivery of projects to the required quality, schedule and budget.
Management of the project and client balancing client objectives and energy guarantees / paybacks.
Undertaking detailed planning and scheduling of the project and manage resource allocation.
Management of subcontractor packages, ensuring all deliverables are achieved.
Maintaining effective communications with all project stakeholders with specific focus on customer relationship and sponsor development.
Deployment of safety plans and EH&S responsibilities.
Conducting hazard and risk assessments (and analysis) for all tasks as per company policy and procedures
Development and implementation of specific installation and commissioning plans for occupied buildings.
Adherence to the highest standards of business ethics and corporate governance in line with the Honeywell code of conduct.
Identification and pursuit of organic business opportunities in conjunction with the account manager.
Skills and experience we required:
Proven track record in project management and delivery of >$1M complex technology based projects in the buildings industry.
Project Management Institute Professional (PMP) accreditation, or equivalent, will be well regarded.
Tertiary qualifications in engineering and significant relevant experience.
Post graduate qualifications in related discipline are desirable, however not mandatory.
Experience in delivery of mechanical and electrical retrofit projects within buildings.
Experience with embedded generation systems.
Domain knowledge in key vertical markets - HVAC and mechanical systems, co-generation power systems, energy management, water systems, lighting etc.
Experience in managing projects whilst buildings are occupied.
Experience is managing a contract with a set of outcomes based on energy performance.
Working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
Proven ability to lead a team.
Ability to apply and manage compliance with Honeywell's processes and procedures for self and others.

Description

Reporting to the VIC Service Manager, the Service Operations Manager is responsible for consistent delivery of exceptional service support to Honeywell customers. You will be balancing the demands and needs of the internal and external stakeholders as well as leading change within the workforce by proactively and creatively taking action to achieve goals and encouraging others to do the same.


Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

Ensuring high quality delivery of services to Honeywell's clients through management of the technical team
Ensuring effective management of work load, improvement of processes and systems, team management, client liaison and escalation, and working with other areas within Honeywell to deliver high quality service

To be successful, you must have proven experience within a similar role in building maintenance, including team management. A tertiary qualification in business or facility management or a trade qualification is highly desirable. Additional skills/experience we are seeking include:

Description

The Energy Specialist will be responsible for providing evaluation and assessment of the energy/utility performance of sites or facilities targeted for energy and cost savings improvements by using energy audits or an industry based rating assessments. Furthermore, to develop solutions to achieve energy savings and to provide verification and support thereof. You will also be expected work with multiple stakeholders across the district, with the aim to ensure the best valued engineered solutions in energy related areas.

Working as an integral part of the energy team, you responsibilities will include:
Provision of engineering design, solution development, verification and support to Honeywell Building Solutions Energy Services.
Evaluation and assessment of the energy/utility performance of sites or facilities.
Evaluation and assessment of third party solutions and sub-contractor proposals.
Development and implementation of standardised processes and tools for related Energy Services activities
Provision of technical support in response to Expressions of Interest (EOI), Request for Proposals (RFP) and Public Private Partnerships (PPP) projects bids.
Provision of technical and solution support to the project delivery teams.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have a combination of the following skills and experience:   
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical/Elec-Mech/Mechatronic Engineering with at least 2 years engineering experience in applicable field. Alternatively, 5 to 10 years vocational experience in design and implementation of energy improvement projects.
Strong engineering capability focused on outcomes based solutions.
Demonstrated performance in working with solution providers to provide energy/utility performance improvements in either commercial, industrial or health facilities.
Understanding of the requirements for and the undertaking of Energy Audits in accordance with AS/NZS 3598.
Ability to work effectively across a large geographic spread in a virtual engineering group environment.
Mature approach in the development of engineering solutions for reducing utility usage and GHG emissions.
Familiarity with the Energy Efficiency Council suite of best practice guides (BPG).
Preferably the membership/association with AIRAH and ABGR Scheme/NABERS Accredited Assessor
Knowledge of energy modelling/best practice and embedded generation solutions will be looked upon favourably.
