我们公司是four week pay cycle，一般一年是13个pay period。
我看有的公司是每个月固定的一天发工资或者weekly，fortnightly……
大家的工资都是按什么周期发的？
前一段收到公司HR的group email说今年会多发一次工资，本来以为7年一次的好事让我赶上了~
原来是说这个financial year多发一次，总体来说还是一样的
我看贴，不是，看信不仔细……

Extra pay period in the financial year
For most years there are thirteen pays made within each financial year.
Every seventh year however the paydays fall in such a way that employees on a four week pay cycle will be paid an additional pay period within the financial year.
This year is such a year where this will occur.
What does this mean to you?
- You can expect that your pay will not deviate in any way from what you would expect to be paid for every four week payment period.
- When you receive your payment summary (group certificate) at the end of the year we will report your total earnings in this year (ie 14 pay periods).
In some cases the payment of an extra pay within the financial period may impact on personal circumstances.
You may have a personal tax strategy in place that may want to consider. If so, you should discuss this with your financial planner.
The remaining paydays in this financial year are:
- 13th Pay period to be paid on 2nd June.
- 14th Pay period to be paid on 30th June. Close off for any changes need to be in by 12noon 25th June.
