Ben Boyd National Park of Eden (Paradise)
This park is named after Benjamin Boyd, a prominent 19th-century Far South Coast entrepreneur. Its rugged coastline is a colourful display of folded red rocks, standing out against the sapphire blue waters ofthe Pacific Ocean. The park has sandy surf beaches, ruggedbays, rock platforms, quiet campgrounds, sheltered inlets and historic lighthouses. Its heathlands and forests are home to a variety of plantsand animals, including threatened species such as the ground parrot, eastern bristlebird, hooded plover, yellow-bellied glider andlong-nosed potoroo.

There are too many activies available in Ben Boyd National Park, such as fishing, swimming, swimming, 4WD touring, snorkel, camping in addtional to short/long walking track (light to light).
Light to Light Track
Over one or two days, this classic walk explores the coast from Boyd Tower to the Green Cape Lighthouse in the south. Hegartys Bay Camp is over halfway and is the quietest campsite in the park (alternative camp at Saltwater creek). The walk explores many of the scenic and historic highlights of Ben Boyd National Park. It is worth taking the time to enjoy the many bays and vantage points along the way.
It took us 7 hours driving to Ben Boyd National Park, and 8 hours back Sydney with driving distnace of near 1200 KM.
We walked near 35 KM of coastal track including light to light track plus several link trarcks to lookout points for near 9 hours. Everyone enjoyed very much with different experience.[/colo
