请问信用卡分期付款，如果提前取消，剩余期数的利息还要付吗？

信用卡分期付款，如果不等分期全部结束，而是提前取消分期，剩余期数的利息是不用还了，还是仍然要还？

我看了westpac这样写的：
You can cancel your SmartPlan at any time, with no cancellation fees.

Any SmartPlan Remaining Balance will revert to the variable interest rate for your balance type or special offer rate as applicable.

For example, if you set up a SmartPlan for a cash advance balance but cancel your SmartPlan early, the variable cash advance interest rate will apply to any amount left unpaid at the time of cancellation.

是不是意思是剩下期数的利息在取消分期时要全部付清？就是省不了钱？
