rspca的很多还不算青年猫,是老猫。。。。我一开始就没好意思说这个
Usually mature dogs/cats are much easier for you to handle than puppies/kittens if you don't have much experience with dogs/cats, they are usually trained and are so willing to give you all their love back if you can provide them with a loving home...
Regarding the fees, animal rescue organization's price is so much lower than the price in pet shop, as the pet you adopted from animal rescue organizations will be vaccinated, microchipped and desexed, you are expected to pay for around 500-700 for those things...
we just went to Blacktown Council pound to adopt an 8-year-old desexed Rottweiler cross girl back home on Saturday, she's so adorable, and she's trying so hard to please us. The adoption fee is $60 only, but the joy she has brought to us is not measurable.
Adopting animals is a very kind and generous act, and those dogs/cats will be so grateful towards you. If you can save one life from those rescue organisations, it does not only mean that you have saved one animal, but you have also prevented the growing number of those pet shops, puppy/kitten mills and backyard breeders, which lead to more abandoned animals. So you have actually saved many lives.
I believe that you are a great person, as you went there and you were intended to adopt a cat. Many people don't even want to go to that kind of place. Please think again, and if you would like to know more information about some organizations which have more kittens, i can send you some links. |
