We are still open at this stage, however to maximise the safety of our school community the following decisions have been made,
School is a no handshake/no touching zone and as previously requested we encourage you to educate your child/children regarding appropriate social interaction e.g. washing hands, social distancing as appropriate
We ask you to avoid entering school buildings and encourage you to contact us by phone or email where possible.
The School Council meeting scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.
This term’s Swimming Program has been cancelled.
No assemblies will take place until further notice.
School Tours will be cancelled until further notice.
The NEVR Choir in which some of our students were participating has been cancelled.
Parent Helpers and Volunteers will not be required in classrooms until further notice
There will be no canteen service for the remainder of Term 1 as we are unable to guarantee that supplies will be available to fulfill orders - please ensure you provide brain food, lunches and snacks for your children.
We fully understand if you decide to keep your child at home at this current time. Your child will be fully supported during their absence and on their return to school to ensure they are not disadvantaged in any way.
Please alert the school should there have been contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
In accordance with the Department of Education’s Infectious Disease Policy all unwell students or staff should remain at home until symptoms resolve and we encourage you to seek medical assistance as required.
Please do not send your child to school if they are showing any signs or symptoms such as sore throat, runny nose, cough, temperature, fatigue and/or shortness of breath. We are aware these symptoms may not be related to COVID-19 but we wish to take these precautions to keep our community safe and well. Students who show any of these symptoms will be sent home immediately. Siblings who are well can still attend school.
