What a day - I fell off the chair when I saw Sunland Group went to 63c, I missed 25% return in a day - fell like screaming and crying...I sold them when it was 45c, because it went from 30c to 45c in 2 days, it was rising too fast I thought - plus I also received divivend - the net return was 50% in a week - I thought that was good enough!!!

Oh, well, money is money, profit is profit - good to make a nice profit in a very short week. Across the board, our short positions have finally regained some profit - warnings from automaker industry in US is once again dominating the headline - but for many investors, they have "mentally" written off these companies already - I did - but the real consequence is the impact on the job market.

Yesterday, there was another news on Chinese investing into Australian resources, this time, it is Terramin, a zinc exploration company - the Chinese Government sponsored investment fund has once again made their move in securing zinc in the global market, it is also one of the reasons it was interested in Oz Minearals as well. Zinc is an important industrial mineral, and it is a mineral that is not found in China, and has to rely on imports. As such, I am also looking at Kagara Zinc, another major zinc producer in Australia, and see if there is any scope of Chinese investments coming in?

Terramin was one of my favorite exploration companies, with some of its key projects in Northern Africa - with good logistics and infrastructure, also low labour cost. The share price has shot up 40% after the annoucement.

On the biotech/healthcare front - my wife has asked me to look at Novogen Limited - Novogen Limited (NRT) is an international pharmaceutical company with expertise in the area of isoflavones and phenolic therapeutics and primarily dietary supplements. Novogen is targeting the treatment of cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Neurological and Autoimmune diseases.

One of the interesting developments is its dietary supplements which are commonly sold at pharmacies and also vitamine / supplement health stores - our research has shown that the intake of these supplements in Asia especially are growing very rapidly - therefore, I wonder if they would benefit from these trends. As a comparison, we are also looking at the market leader, Blackmores.

Natural supplement, in my view, is a "cash cow" business - also it requires less regulatory requirements as well, and can be commercialised and made available on the shelf much quickly than prescriptive drugs.

和我的经历差不多， 35C买的SDG， 过了2天44C就卖了 。。。不过NO COMPLAINT了， TRADED过SDG 5－6次， 从没亏过， 每次利润都在10％以上。 做人总得在餐桌上给别人留下些什么， 不过当然希望自己吃到的是MAIN COURSE。

TZN毫无疑问是澳洲最强的PURE ZINC PLAYER， 可惜全球锌矿太多， 产量太大， 需求如果稍慢， 锌价很容易饱和。

NRT － 惨痛经历， 只TRADE过一次，损失3成出逃， 以后没碰过。 现在看的PHARMY只有AVX。
