刚好最近我也在些selective criteria，回答最后一条：Effective communication skills.贴上我的答案,供参考：
As a main designer and performer, I developed excellent communications skills. I ever reported and discussed experimental results with my supervisor twice a week, lectured and trained undergraduates as well as the new postgraduates once a week from July 2004 to July 2008.In April 2005 I was a voluntary interpreter of a USA medical team in China. My previous employment history in hospital had enabled me to gain a number of valuable skills in the area of communication. I am able to communicating with individuals from a range of backgrounds, including, the socially disadvantaged, different religious groups, a variety of age ranges and all members of the general public.
I have developed the ability when communicating to actively listen to the thoughts and feeling of others. My communication is clear, concise and empathic. My previous employment has required me to write medical records, experimental results and research articles. It is through this training that I have gained the ability to communicate written as well as orally at a very professional level.
