Aggro
Aussies use the term for people who are aggressive and show violent behavior. 'Aggro' simply being a shortened form of 'aggressive'.

Ankle biter
The phrase is often used to refer to a small child. That is, they are small enough to bite your ankles.

Banana bender
Another name for a person from the state of Queensland. It is derived from a joke and a 1937 article about a Queenslander telling the Queen that his job was to bend bananas.

This means sausage and it should not be confused with 'sanger', which means sandwich. Seen here being served in bread with sauce, by staff at Bunnings Warehouse to customers.

Barrack for
It suggests giving strong support, usually involving passionate slogans and swearing, to a team or a person. ‘Who are you barracking for today?’

Do a Bradbury

To 'do a Bradbury' refers to an unexpected win. The origin of this is athlete Steven Bradbury, who won a gold medal in speed skating at the 2002 Winter Olympics after all his opponents fell over before the finish line, thus allowing him to win by default.

This metaphor refers to a 'mess'. ‘That’s a bit of a dog’s breakfast, isn’t it?’ It can be used to describe something intangible, such as a personal predicament or poorly-written piece of work, or the visual appearance of something, such as an untidy room.
