On 23 April 2016, the Australian Government announced its intention to close the Child Dental Benefits Schedule from 1 July 2016 and establish a Child and Adult Public Dental Scheme.
As legislation was not passed before the election was called on 9 May 2016, the Child Dental Benefits Schedule remains open until further notice.


The Child Dental Benefits Schedule pays benefits for basic dental services up to $1000 over two years.

基础牙科项目，两年，1000元

If the full benefit amount is not used in the first year, you can use what is left in the second year if your child/ren remain eligible.

第一年没用可以留到第二年接着用，如果孩子仍然符合资格

A child is eligible if they are eligible for Medicare, aged 2-17
years at any point in the calendar year and receive a relevant Australian government
payment, such as Family Tax Benefit Part A at any point in the calendar year.
