Technology & Development Leader (Regional Director Level)
Function grade:                        80 (/90)

Educational background:        Masters or PhD in Chemical technology, Physics or Mechanical Engineering

Background:               
1. At least 8 years in product development at a team or group leader level in high performance (mass market) consumer products industry or equivalent; preferably in the domains as described above
2. Familiar with high performance product quality and project management practices

Personal characteristics:   
1. Excellent Mandarin and English language and communication skills
2. Strong leadership potential equivalent to CL Top potential definition
3. Around 35-40 years of age.

Responsibilities
1. To set up a CL TnD team in Shanghai primarily serving BU Domestic Appliances and Shaving and Beauty successfully within 6 month
2. To run a project office for Development projects allocated to Shanghai that does integral project management, which means the full project from Marketing Brief to Industrialization, leveraging the various CL functions successfully
3. The successful execution of the project portfolio allocated to Shanghai.
4. The quality of the TnD tasks performed
5. The financials of the group according to the AOP
6. All management development aspects of running a team
7. The organizational integration of the TnD team in Suzhou per 2010
