Key Responsibilities
Database Administration
•        Strong skills with SQL Server administration
•        Backups, restores and refreshes – Sybase, SQL 2005 and SQL 2000
•        Replication and log shipping administration – Sybase and SQL 2000
•        User security maintenance
•        Stored procedure design and tuning
•        SQL performance tuning & indexing on large transactional databases
•        Experience with SQL Server cluster
•        Capacity planning
•        Storage experience will be an advantage
•        Trouble shooting
•        Preventative maintenance tasks

System Administration - Unix
•        Operating system health checks – HP Unix
•        Backups and restores – HP Unix
•        Performance monitoring – HP Unix
•        Installation of latest patch bundles – HP Unix
•        User account maintenance – HP Unix
•        Capacity planning


Application & Interfacing Support
•        Server side application installations
•        Services and event viewer monitoring – NetIQ
•        Monitoring of system interfaces (NetIQ, in future using middleware)
•        Unix application operational tasks (backup, restore, installs and user administration)
•        Unix application monitoring & support (file uploads, vendor script execution and performance monitoring)

Change Management
•        Application, interface & database change control & implementation
•        Migration system management (Unix environment)
•        Migration of project and BAU application/database changes
•        Engaging with Project Services on the Solution Architecture
•        Assisting the Project Services DBA with UAT environment control
•        Ensure capture of team knowledge within Knowledge Source in relation to System Administration where appropriate

85K是有点少，105算是可以吧。不过薪水多少也得看经济大环境。

忘了加注脚了

一切都在发展变化之中　-想想雷曼被砍掉的那１－２万人－还有ｃｉｔｉ的２万５
合适的位置给合适的人　－工资低的觉得不错了，工资高的觉得低

经验是写出来看的　　－没能力１０年也没用
能力是面试中体现出来的　－２年经验能力很强也没问题
软实力也是很重要的　－最终还是跟人打交道
薪水是可以谈的（１１０ｋ　也没问题如果有相应能力）

要求是有些奇怪，SQL是Windows下的，但同时要求Unix的sys admin。说实话，这两个方向里面任何一个，在senior的水平上工资会都达到6位数以上；但是如果从另一个角度来看的话，有多少工作能给你同时兼顾这两个不同方向的机会？先有了令人信服的Skill & work experience, then money will just follow.所以这样的工作在我看来对某些合适的同学来说是好机会。

说的有道理，居安思危．什么公司都可能破产 - 包括这位说风凉话的, 呵呵.

这个职位不是投行，所以不用害怕　

另外有头脑的同学自己考虑一下，　现在在金融界还在找人的公司　－是什么概念?
