我的职业定位正确吗?

澳洲本硕毕业。

在华人会计行做了半年。

1年半的小生意记账经验（生意是自己的），plus 有半年的bookkeeper volunteer 经验。

想投AA，从今年5月份找工到现在未果，处于崩溃及抓狂的边缘。
请这里的高人给看看，我找AA合适吗？还是应该找Accounts clerk 或bookkeeper 做呢？

机会是一瞬而逝的，既然选择会计这一行，那qualification是必须的。
当有一天机会降临的时候，而却没有准备，那会多遗憾呢？我想lz还年轻，可以不要计较得失，趁着这段时间把该准备，该考的都考好。

毕业了4年，想着刚毕业的时候没有工作经验，先做labour 工，同时积累会计经验，现在总算是有了2年多的经验，找专业工作应该不会太难了吧，谁想到6个月的煎熬，还是空欢喜。

沮丧啊！总不能一辈子打labour 工吧。

您说的这些绝对不适用于澳洲。

LZ这点工作经验，再加上有个CPA， 百分百把雇主都吓回去了。 想找JUNIOR的那些雇主，绝对不乐意付你那么高工资。 想找个真正CPA qulified的那些雇主，又觉得这人经验太少。 最后变成鸡肋了。

建议LZ在那个ACCOUNTING FIRM坚持个一年两年吧。不过前提是，它给你的工作不是那些简单的DATA ENTRY， REC。。。

完全支持无产的看法，qualification是迟早都要考的，早考总比晚考好，考试很辛苦......人越老，commitment越多，就越辛苦。

LZ，华人会计行能有什么干头，赶紧出来去个local事务所吧，干两三年再说

以我个人的猜测，不一定是楼主经验不够作AA，很有可能是老在华人圈子里混，英文不达标。

我老早已经从华人会计行出来了。的确，没钱途。
现在自己做小生意兼自己做bookkeeper。

只是小生意很辛苦，赚钱又不多，所以决定找工作的。

也试着投过Graduate Position，firm 什么的都未果，心凉啊。
不知道应该何去何从？

btw 读cpa 需要2-3年的时间，难道我还要继续2+的labour 工作，毕业后已经做了3年的waitress + cleaner，到那个时候我会不会更找不着工作？

既然已经读了master，目标就是高层次的会计职位，至少也是accountant吧。至于是在澳洲，还是回国发展，有了qualification,毕竟可以进退自如。

qualification 还是早考出来的好。。一边读书一边考试很累的。。。
而且还有家里的n多琐事。。。

lz可以直接申请acctant。。。
如果技术很好， 可以申请acctant。。因为你的学历高， 如果aa， supervisor会不舒服。。。还不如干纯技术的acctant， 不要去做accounts那些输单子， 稍微对对账的活，别人会考虑不要你的。。。。

只要你对自己的技术有信心，a/c 都能趟平，报表的各项都清楚。。。可可以试一下acctant...

考出6门课,没有相关的工作经验,可以吗?

做普通与会计相关的工作，ap,ar, bookkeeping不一定要qualification。别太在意证书什么的，坚持找，肯定可以找到，也不要给自己太大压力。

lz的学历放在那里，如果做普通的记账，谁会要呀,如果是男生那问题就更大了，还bu 如努力一把,干个辛苦活，如acctant， 申请data entrying， 希望很小。

可惜，偶是个大龄绿的。

一直没考cpa，觉得考出来找不到工作更搓火。现在就是觉得有点经验，应该可以找到专业工作，不用再卖苦力了。

所以，一直在孜孜不倦的投AA ,有雇主面试， 有中介面试，但到最后都是不了了之，被告知，其他candidate 的经验更符合他们的要求。sigh 所以想问问这里的高人，帮我看看我缺点什么，当然了，运气肯定是没有了。还有就是，我是不是应该从bookkeeper 做起呢？这样1年半载后是不是可以容易找到AA 的工作呢。

之所以想找AA是觉得它离Accountant 近些（当然是physical 和theortical来讲，没做过，猜的），至于有的tx说让我投Accountant ， 我没有勇气，看看那些职位要求要不您是cpa要不您有n 年corporate experience，我看我还是算了吧，投了进去只能是去垫底。

plus, 我国内是本科英语毕业，communication skill 当然不能和native speaker 比拟，但是面试没有问题。

求上帝把那扇属于我的窗户给开个小缝吧，让我看到点希望。

这样看来还是aa吧，本科学英语， Master学会计，估计会计知识 bu会太强，是女生又有学历， 还是从aa做起，找到工再考试把...

i am the one like you meantioned above, i got one year local firm experience (i was fired because my boss said i am not communicated well with clients, that's why i wanna to find an aa job) and i finaished my cpa program.  I tried to find an aa job but there's no reply.  I feel really worried.     i guess i am over qualified)

但是好在你有一年的经验，应该好找的，只不过现在环境不好，到处裁人。慢慢来吧！

plus 你被解雇的原因是你没和client communicated well 这个也太general 没有说服力了，你没有和他argue 吗？

argue????when you saw the white envelope on the table, what you can argue? the boss already made the decison.right?

you know what, on the following monday, my collegues told me that, one of the previous collegue who has left the firm last year has came back and took my Post.  That mean my boss was intentionally wanted to fire me to let him replace my post.  Be honest, i understand why my boss did that to me, this collegue has been worked with him for 8 years and he has a good connection with china and he can bring in a lot of business from china.  

i am so unlucky~

i have no more faith in working in public practice firm, i now keep on applying aa position, but the reason came out with none reply.  My friend told me that, commercial firm don't like to hire accountant with tax background, as they think that the experience is totally unrelated.  All the application i have sent to job agent were all blocked.  I don't know what i can do now?   

I am so sad, feeling very helpless and useless.....with no faith~

Would a career consultant be helpful? I read an article written by a career consultant..it looks to me that she helps her clients in a very effective way.

Don't be discouraged. "Everything will come in time"... Take it easy and believe me- it won't last forever.

I had a very hard time after I just finished by studies. No working experence, not very good language skills, plus...most importantly because of my area, I often couldn't find a vecancy on advertisement on which I would stand any chance.. I was also under the pressure of the risk that I might not be qualified for PR, which my hubby and I needed badly for financial reasons.. For the first time, I had to work as a labour... I did pray a lot, but not for the situation to be removed , but for help to accept it and the courage to remain positive. Also I do not take my career as the most important thing in my life although I put lot's of efforts in it. Therefore, I would never deny myself because of any failure in my career. I know I value as much as if I was "successful".

Things all worked out later on- even the immigration policy changed in favour of me - I enjoy my present work- evolving in interesting projects, new things to learn every day...

Life on this globe is just an experence..Look at the stars in the sky, or like Astina, "look at the broad waters in Pacific", you'll feel what you are dealing with is so trivial.

我有点点觉得，也许你老板的理由是有点道理的，因为你上面的英文还是有些语法错误的，也许确实是英文的原因才造成你和客户的沟通不畅？
要不，先下苦力拼命学英语会有帮助？

I reckon you would have better chances for positions that are suitable for your level of education.  If I were the recruitment agent, I wouldn't hire a master degree holder for a book keep job.

Is an accountant position very hard to get? Did you try WA? I even saw the ads. of a recruitment agency, saying that you'll get $3000 reward for recommending a sucessful candidate in certain areas, including accounting.
