We have an opportunity for Network Security Engineer which may be of interest to you.



As an experienced Network Security Engineer you will join a market leader in Australia and New Zealand, located in North Sydney.



You will join a supportive and highly skilled team to provide BAU support to the network infrastructure.



This is an initial 6 month contract where you will work closely with the wider infrastructure team, project managers and architects to help deliver projects



You will have hands-on experience designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining F5 LTMs and supporting Checkpoint  in an enterprise environment.



The company offers training and development. You will work with experienced Network Engineers to build your skills and knowledge, gain exposure to emerging technology and the wider infrastructure systems.

This is a Monday - Friday 9am-5pm role. Close to public transport and stunning office views.

As part of this role you will participate in after hours support. You will be required to on call 1/6 weeks.



Key Responsibilities:



·         Maintain, administrate, and troubleshoot the networking infrastructure.

·         Plan, schedule and implement Network hardware and software changes

·         Perform afterhours maintenance for Firewall request.

·         Set up new network infrastructure

·         Maintain and upgrade equipment hardware, firmware and software

·         Data centre Maintenance and provisioning requirements



Key Requirements



·         A minimum of 3 years experience in a medium to large enterprise

·         Strong Checkpoint and F5 experience

·         Experience working with various technologies & protocols

·         Sound knowledge of routing and switching.

·         Good documentation and communication skills
