为了支持新足迹，我从现在起，开个世界流行音乐系列贴，介绍近几十年来流行音乐世界里的闪亮明星，与大家一起欣赏。我还会再开个帖子，做所有系列贴的索引，方便使用。时间如有富余，我就贴的歌多些快些。歌的来源主要是 YOUTUBE, 所以大家的宽带下载量要增加些，音质上可能差些，还请各位体谅些。

今天第一次开张，放送的是澳洲音乐。

摇滚乐坛70年代的老牌迪士科乐乐队比基斯(Bee Gees Bee Gees的团名取自Barry Gibb的起首字母，于英国曼彻斯特组成，因父亲是乐团团长，青少年时即在舞台上表演。1958全家移民澳洲，首支单曲"Three Kisses Of Love" (1963)稍获成功。到1966年他们已成为澳洲顶尖的合唱团。1967年澳洲经纪人Robert Stigwood带着他们回到英国发展。此时Colin Petersen加入担任鼓手，Vince Melouney亦加入担任吉他手。Bee Gees到英国后，"Spicks And Specks"在澳洲夺下排行榜冠军。旋即并以"New York Mining Disaster, 1941"在英美创下佳绩，继"To Love somebody"和"Holiday"成为畅销曲，" Massachusetts"也登上英国金榜榜首。"I""ve Got To Get A Message To you"更证明他们兄弟词曲创作的才华。

1969年，Melouney自组小型乐团，Robin Gibb亦独自单飞，至1970年后期又重组。1971年单曲"Lonely Days"及" How Can You Mend A Broken Heart"在美国创下200万张的成绩，但随后歌唱事业陷入低潮。直到70年代中期的Disco热潮，方再创他们的事业高峰，并使他们成为超级巨星。

从自怜故事性的歌曲，转型为轻柔灵魂乐及Disco舞曲，由Robin的高音搭配假音合声，完美的合音技巧形成Bee Gees独一无二的特色。1975年，由Arif Mardin制作的专辑"Main Course"获得白金唱片肯定。单曲"Jive Talking"更是轰动一时。之后自己制作的专辑"Children Of The World"，包含"You Should Be Dancing"和"Love So Right"两支热门单曲。"Saturday Night Fever"电影原声带创造了三首冠军曲。排行榜冠军专辑"SpiritsshavingsFlow"更创造六支冠军曲的非凡成就。

1980年Barry Gibb制作Barbra Streisand的专辑"Guilty"，创下傲人成绩。1987年Bee Gees以"You Win Again"再创佳绩，重返音乐舞台，杰出的表现再度证明他们在流行音乐界的地位。

澳洲爱国歌曲介绍-Waltzing Matilda
                                       
中国有很多popular的爱国歌曲，记得一次在电视上看到法国的杂技节比赛上，别国队员都是摸爬滚打得出来亮相，中国杂技参赛队员则是随着“五星红旗迎风飘扬”排着队走着正步出场，有点觉得好笑，但是特别理解中国的这种国情，也明白播放可谓最大爱国歌曲“五星红旗迎风飘扬”的心情。澳大利亚也有自己的最大爱国歌曲，就是著名的Waltzing Matilda。

同样道理，澳洲队员出场时播放Waltzing Matilda也绝对可以理解，而澳洲人也是这样做的，不过不是杂技比赛而是在澳洲橄榄球国家队的比赛前。新西兰和其他南太平洋岛国在橄榄球比赛前要跳毛利人战斗前的哈卡舞(haka)是不可错过的一部分，澳洲佬在赛前高唱Waltzing Matilda也是澳洲橄榄球比赛的必需品。唱Waltzing Matilda经常是全场齐声洪亮，响彻云霄，震撼球员，比至于前年在澳大利亚举行橄榄球世界杯前全球橄榄球联合会投票要将Waltzing Matilda列为比赛禁歌，理由是影响对方球员投入比赛。当然，这样无稽的规定最后并没有执行不了了之，不过估计就算通过了对澳洲观众来说也不会有任何规范力，联合会的理事恐怕只会得到更加高亢有力Waltzing Matilda歌声的还击。

Waltzing Matilda被称为澳大利亚准国歌，或者非官方国歌，也有人组织起来搞活动要把二奶扶正，但是风声大雨点小，最主要的原因还是因为这首歌虽然深受大众欢迎，但是歌词以调笑的手法讲述了一个流浪汉(swagman)偷羊(jumbuck)和警察(trooper)发生冲突的故事，难蹬大雅之堂，所以官方也觉得把它定为国歌实在为难。

Waltzing Matilda: 是流浪汉接着上路的戏称 Matilda原为女孩名，这里的意思的铺盖卷；铺盖卷的华尔兹就是带着铺盖卷上路。
swagman: 流浪汉
billabong: 小水塘，也是澳洲现在一种时装衣服的牌子
coolibah: 一种桉树
billy: 小锡壶
dri-ink: drinking
jumbuck: 羊
tucker-bag: 旧式很长的背包
squatter: 斯夸特，澳大利亚创始初期（强行）占有耕地的农场主
thoroughbred: 纯种马
trooper: 警察或士兵
