澳洲海关从一名来自泰国飞往brisbane的乘客的行李中找到5586类类固醇药片。

海关官员在一些标着浴盐的小袋里以及标着维生素瓶的行李中找到这些药品的。

海关官员说这个行动显示了海关官员的专业素质很高“ 不管它们藏在哪里，我们训练有素的官员们都可以找到它们”

这些东西可能在海外自由买卖，但在澳洲是禁止进口的。

Customs seizes over 5,500 steroid tablets at Brisbane Airport Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (ACBPS) officers haveseized 5,586 tablets of steroids from a female passenger who arrived atBrisbane Airport from Thailand, on Monday 12 August.
ACBPS officers found the tablets in sachets, labelled "Lavender Bathand Soak Salt", and also contained in vitamin bottles inside thepassenger's suitcase.
ACBPS National Manager Airport Operations North, Craig Sommerville, saysthis seizure highlights the expert training and professionalism of officers atthe border.
"This seizure demonstrates the ongoing hard work of our officers atAustralia's frontline, who every day continue to intercept illegal substancesbefore they reach our communities," Mr Sommerville said.
"No matter how these prohibited substances are concealed, our highlytrained officers have the intelligence, technology and expertise to detectthem."
While such substances may be available overseas, performance and imageenhancing drugs are a prohibited import under the Customs Act 1901 andcan only be imported if a person is issued with a permit from the TherapeuticGoods Administration.
Those caught attempting to import prohibited substances such as steroidswithout the appropriate permits could face fines of up to $170,000 and up to fiveyears in prison.
