请问我女儿15个月来的，然后三岁回国呆了半年读了幼儿园，然后回来读kinder-grade 1,然后回国读的半年小学，现在又回来了，以后也不会再回国读了。改怎么算啊 。

我有个朋友小孩3岁过一个月来的，国内什么学也没有上过呢，岂不是更不利。

Eligibility Criteria

Chinese Second Language

A student is NOT eligible for Chinese Second Language if they have had either:

12 months or more education in a school where Chinese is the medium of instruction, or
3 years (36 months) or more residence in any of the VCAA nominated countries or regions.
The nominated countries and regions are China, Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau.

Chinese Second Language Advanced

A student is eligible for Chinese Second Language Advanced if:

they have had no more than 7 years of education in a school where Chinese is the medium of instruction
the highest level of education attained in a school where Chinese is the medium of instruction is no greater than the equivalent of Year 7 in a Victorian school.
The time periods referred to in these criteria will be counted cumulatively since the time of the student’s birth.

As the formal education commencement age for a Victorian student is 5 years of age, then all applicants will be deemed to have commenced formal education by the end of their 5th year of age, regardless of the setting.

这条是说在国内累计居住时间吧，不是三岁的意思。那我们15个月来，回去探亲的时间累计加起来很容易超过。

VCE student Clara Haberberger never thought much about Australia's monolingual mindset until she learnt Australians were among the least likely to study a second language in the world.
''If you look at other English-speaking nations, England is surrounded by Europe, so they end up learning a LOTE [language other than English], America is next to Mexico, so they learn Spanish, but Australia doesn't seem to put that much emphasis on learning another language,'' the Glen Waverley Secondary College student says.
''There seems to be the attitude that once you've got English under control, why do another language? Because English is the world language.''
It's an attitude that Clara, who is one of only 223 VCE students studying at least two foreign languages this year, believes is misguided.

''Learning another language doesn't just mean you can communicate in another language - it means you are also absorbing another culture and learning to understand other people and where they are coming from.''
Clara, who speaks German, French, Italian and English, has applied to do a bachelor degree in liberal arts and sciences at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
She dreams of one day becoming an interpreter for the United Nations. She completed VCE German last year, and is doing Italian and French this year. She is among the 10,302 students who will put their linguistic skills to the test from tomorrow, as language oral exams and performance exams in drama, theatre studies, dance and music kick off the VCE exam season.
Chinese and French were the most popular VCE languages this year.
More than 3080 students are doing Chinese, which is divided into three levels - Chinese first language, Chinese second language and Chinese second language advanced - to take into account the high number of native speakers.
Nationally, less than 6 per cent of secondary school students learn Asian languages, a figure that is ringing alarm bells.
Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has said one of his key priorities, if elected, would be to increase the number of high school students studying foreign languages - particularly Asian - to 40 per cent within a decade.
About 17 per cent of Victorian students at state schools complete a second language, low by international standards. ''Of all the students in [OECD] countries, Australian students spend the least time learning a second language,'' a 2010 Victorian education department report said.
In the 1960s about 40 per cent of year 12s studied another language.
Clara says there are incentives to studying languages in VCE, as study scores are scaled up as a result of government policy to encourage the study of languages.
But when visitors tour Glen Waverley Secondary College, she says, they tend to be far more interested in the school's maths and science faculties.
''I feel that this attitude is often then also passed on to students and parents. Which is a shame.''

探亲1-2个月不算的，具体要和学校联系确认的。

女儿从7年级开始学日语，这是她喜欢的，由于有中文基础，日文也学得很不错，到了10年级还得到学校的日语award,但是在选择最终VCE课程是，综合分析后，觉得很难拼得过有家庭背景的，不得已放弃。其实VCE课程，你并不一定需要考试第二语言，如果你觉得第二语言对你加分有利，你可以选择它。

还是你女儿的兴趣比较重要，这样会有动力学好语言。

不是一定要考的，如果你觉得对你加分有帮助，就选第二语言。

根据你孩子的具体情况，女儿同学就是考中文第二初级和德语。

楼主，我刚问了小朋友，她说她7年级也学过一个semester的法语。那么算上小学中间插了一年意大利语，所以其实也是三种外语（大部分时间学的日语），所以，tcmum和D妈妈说的是对的，都是这么安排的，你家孩子学的不杂，大家一样。

长期学一种语言肯定是有优势的，我女儿小学开始学日语，选中学的时候我们都是看好有日语的学校才去，所以她在学校一直都只学日语，加上成天在家看日语的原版动画片，兴趣是最好的老师，现在日语是她成绩最好的一科。今年10年级，今天下午参加vce中文高考，以后就再也不用周末上中文学校了，所以她要求我给她报名明年开始周末去上日语学校，12年级参加日语vce。


上个礼拜天是中文学校的最后一课。
中文学校给每个毕业班50块钱，同学们买了些饮料零食，开了个小party，女儿说：大家都很高兴，整整这么多年的周末中文学校啊，有的同学从学前班开始，整整上了13年啊！现在终于解放了。

13年，真的很不容易，我非常佩服这些家长们的坚持，我都不知道自己能否坚持让妹妹学习这么久的中文。
在中文学校认识了一个带着两个儿子去的妈妈，她告诉我还有个大女儿，今年20岁，在大学读牙医专业，大女儿就是在6岁的时候哭闹着不肯上中文学校，妈妈投降了。然后现在大女儿后悔了，痛心疾首地跟妈妈说，不管两个弟弟如何哭闹，都得坚持送他们去中文学校！两个弟弟齐声说：that's not fair！

偶家哥哥坚决要求把弟弟也送去中文学校(受苦), 不然不公平.

我家儿子要有这样一个哥哥，估计中文应该很不错。我在想怎么找机会让孩子去 中国系统地学一段时间中文。头痛。

要求弟弟去上中文学校是因为他被勉强过的事弟弟也不可以幸免.

LZ的儿子很优秀，赞一个。中文的确很难推，为了推孩子中文，每隔一年都带回中国旅游几周，这几周他中文突飞猛进。回来后就停滞不前。中文如果有象曰文的动漫，估计对我们孩子学中文很有帮助，毕竟学语言需要很强的吸引力的。不知三国游戏如何？

我想只要能诱惑他们喜欢上, 对中文学习都是有好处的, 只是柰何英文的游戏, 电影和书都更加有吸引力, 同学朋友一起玩的也多.
