它对粉尘 烟尘有较强的吸附力，因而被誉为“绿色吸尘器”。但是夹竹桃的叶 皮 根 花均有毒，人若误食，会中毒。(我老婆说她以前看过一个电影，女猪脚用夹竹桃的枝条做烧烤签子，男主人吃了这个签子穿的肉串后  死掉了)  呵呵 没那么毒吧

Murraya Paniculata    Common name: Orange Jasmine
九里香的花、叶、果均含精油，出油率为0.25%，精油可用于化妆品香精、食品香精；叶可作调味香料；枝叶入药，有行气止痛、活血散瘀之功效，可治胃痛、风湿痹痛，外用则可治牙痛、跌扑肿痛、虫蛇咬伤等。此外，医药上还以之为强壮剂、健胃剂等。著名的胃药——三九胃泰原其配方中的主要成份就是药用植物三桠苦和九里香，所以取名三九胃泰。九里香木材坚硬致密，可制精细工艺品
  


Evergreen rounded shrub with rich green aromatic foliage. Highly perfumed white flowers in summer. Will grow to 3 metres in height. Full sun or part shade position.
fertilise regularly (at least twice a year with a slow release fertiliser 6 month release) and ensure adequate water is delivered.  You should also ensure plenty of mulch is applied (At least 3-4 inches thick).  You can use any type of mulch such as pine bark, leaf mulch, euc mulch, tea tree, sugar cane or forest blend.  This will make a huge difference to the growth of your plants.
Prune in Autumn or Spring.  Remember to always feed your plants at the same time as pruning, to encourage new growth.  Never prune in the middle of the day when it is very hot as the plants will suffer from stress and may begin to wilt.  Always prune e

An excellent hedging plant Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin' is an evergreen shub that will reach around 3m but is easily pruned to size. Valued for it's dense glossy green foliage and br illiant red new growth this is a fast growing hedging plant that grows well in full sun. White flowers from spring to summer are an adde attraction, although for more formal hedges these are often pruned away.
Suited to a formal hedge 'Red Robin' can also be used as a large filler at the rear of the border or in a difficult corner of the garden.
For a dense hedge plant at 60 -90 cm apart. suggest digging in some well rotted compost and manure before planting. Mulch well to provide a cool root run.

Botanical name: Grevillea Poorinda Royal Mantle   Common name: Grevillea Royal Mantle

Soil: Well drained not too moist, slightly acid soils with lots of leaf matter and mulch around roots.
Diseases: No known problems.
Maintenance:  Take care not to disturb the roots. Trim back after flowering as the heads can be messy. Fertilise with blood and bone.
Comments: Its fast growing habit and hardy nature make it excellent for covering large areas of ground quite quickly.



Banksia gardneri   Common name: Prostrate banksias

It is a slow growing prostrate woody shrub with thick horizontal stems and upright broadly roughly triangularly lobed leaves to 40 cm high (though usually less) and 2 to 6 cm wide. The furry rusty brown flower spikes are cylindrical with cream, or rarely black styles. Flowering is in late spring. It is lignotuberorous and regenerates by resprouting after fire.



Acacia baileyana   Common name: Prostrate Sydney wattle

The feathery silver-grey bipinnate foliage with masses of spherical flower heads 1 cm in diameter A great plant for embankments and as a general ground cover. Also worth considering as a weeping standard.

They are very attractive foliage plants that will reach 1 foot (30 cm) tall. Sun to Partial Shade

It can grow into very old specimens with 6–7 m (over 20 feet) of trunk; however, the plant is very slow-growing and requires about 50–100 years to achieve this height.
It needs good drainage or it will rot. It is fairly drought-tolerant and grows well in full sun or outdoor shade, but needs bright light when grown indoors. The leaves can bleach somewhat if moved from indoors to full sun outdoors. All parts of the plant are toxic
