海关抓住45公斤易制毒药品
这些毒品来自16票不同的货，货源地是印度、中国、香港以及爱尔兰。这些货物包括大约5公斤康泰克及40公斤的麻黄素。
毒品藏到很多不同的产品里，包括人造盆景、空气床、方向盘锁、手推车等等。
警官说：罪犯总是想着找到更多不同的地方去藏毒，以避免被发现。

Australian Customs and BorderProtection Service media release13 August 2013 Customs officers seize 45 kilograms of precursor drugs in SydneyAustralian Customs and Border Protection Service (ACBPS) officers last weekseized 45 kilograms of precursor drugs in New South Wales.
ACBPS officers detected the drugs in 16 separate consignments from India,China, Hong Kong and Ireland. The seizures included approximately fivekilograms of ContacNT and approximately 40 kilograms of ephedrine.
The drugs were concealed inside a range of goods, including artificialflower arrangements, a blow-up air bed, steering wheel locks, a fax machine, boltcutters, cling wrap, a stainless steel trolley, trowels, paint scrapers, vacuumcylinders, water filters and a wok.
ACBPS National Manager Cargo Operations, Jagtej Singh, said: "Criminalsare continuing to find new ways to conceal drugs in an attempt to avoiddetection at the border.
"The Service does not tolerate the illegal importation of dangerousprecursors. Those caught attempting to smuggle them into Australia could faceheavy penalties, such as fines and gaol time."
ContacNT is a cold and flu medication, which contains high levels ofpseudoephedrine and can be legally purchased in some countries. Ephedrine is aprecursor drug used to manufacture amphetamine-type substances, such asmethamphetamine or 'ice'.
It is prohibited to import ephedrine-type substances into Australia withouta permit. Anyone caught importing precursor drugs such as ContacNT, ephedrineor pseudoephedrine, could face a fine of up to $510,000 and/or 15 years inprison.
