我给剪贴出来，分享到这里方便大家有个初步的了解。算是扫盲贴了。另外附上宝宝疫苗针打针时间表。
Having a baby – What benefitsyou can claim(For any intended and unintended audience, belowinformation are sourced from Centrelink website. “We” means “Centrelink”.)
1.Dad and Partner Payl If you have a baby or adopt achild on or after1 January 2013,you or your partner could be eligible for Dad and Partner Pay. l Benefit: up to two weeks ofgovernment-funded pay at the rate of the National Minimum Wage (currently $606per week before tax) l Eligibility: – Meet the work test: you to haveworked for at least 10 of the 13 months before the date your Dad and PartnerPay period starts; worked for at least 330 hours in that 10 month period (justover one day a week); had no more than an eight week gap between two workingdays. – you have individual taxableincome of $150 000 or less in last financial year – you are on unpaid leave or notworking during your Dad and Partner Pay period (up to two weeks) l When to claim: You can claim Dad andPartner Pay up to three months before your child’s birth or adoption. Werecommend claiming early so we can pay you as soon as possible. If you’d liketo receive the full two weeks pay, your Dadand Partner Pay period (up to two weeks) start dateneeds to be within 50 weeks of yourchild’s birth or adoption. l Payment: If your claim is finalisedbefore your Dad and Partner Pay period starts, we’ll pay you on the first day of the period. You should beable to access the money in two business days. If your claim isn’t finalised bythis time, we expect to pay you within 28 days of when it is. We pay the moneyinto your bank account in one instalment.
2.Parental Leave Payl Parental Leave Pay and Baby Bonus CANNOT be paid for the samechild. l Benefit: up to 18 weeks of ParentalLeave Pay at the rate of the National Minimum Wage. If you plan on taking thefull 18 weeks, you will receive a total of $10 917 before tax. l Eligibility: – You are the primary carer of anewborn – Meet the work test: you to haveworked for at least 10 of the 13 months before the date your Dad and PartnerPay period starts; worked for at least 330 hours in that 10 month period (justover one day a week); had no more than an eight week gap between two workingdays. – Individual adjusted taxableincome of $150 000 or less in last financial year – You are on leave or notworking, from when you become the child’s primary carer until the end of yourPaid Parental Leave period (up to 18 weeks) l When to claim: You can claim up to threemonths before your child’s birth or adoption. But, to get the full 18 weeks ofpay you must claim within 34 weeks, and the start date you choose must bewithin 34 weeks of birth or adoption. You must lodge your claim beforereturning to work. l Payment: Your employer would provideParental Leave Pay to you the same way they normally pay your wages; OR, we’llpay you directly in fortnightly instalments.
3.Baby Bonusl Parental Leave Pay and Baby Bonus CANNOT be paid for the samechild. l Benefit: A total of $5000 paid in 13instalments. (You can go back to work and receive payment at the same time). l Eligibility: – you are eligible for Family TaxBenefit (FTB) for the child (disregarding the FTB income test), OR you areclaiming for a child other than your own and you started caring for the childwithin six months of the child's birth and are likely to continue caring forthe child for at least six months – you or your partner are theprimary carer of the child – meet the Baby Bonus incometest: family's estimated combined adjusted taxable income is $75,000 or less inthe six months after your child is born l When to claim: You can claim up to threemonths before your child’s birth or adoption, but must submit your claim nolater than 52 weeks from the day of your child’s birth or adoption. l Payment: Your employer would provideParental Leave Pay to you the same way they normally pay your wages; OR, we’llpay you directly in fortnightly instalments.
4.Child Care Benefitl Helps cover the cost of childcare, including long day care, family day care, occasional day care, outsideschool hour care, vacation care, pre-school, and kindergarten. Child CareBenefit may also help cover the cost of child care provided by grandparents,relatives, friends or nannies. l Benefit/ Type of cares: n Approved child care (and cares provided by Guardians, foster parents and grandparent):
You can claim only up to 24hours of care per child per week, unless you and your partner meet the 'work,training, study test' for Child Care Benefit. If you meet the test, or areexempt from it, you can get up to 50 hours of care per child per week. Thecurrent rate for a non school-aged child in up to 50 hours of care per week is$3.90 per hour, or $195 per week. n Registered child care:
You are paid Child CareBenefit for registered child care directly if you lodge a claim and provideyour child-care receipts to us. The current registered care rate for a nonschool-aged child in up to 50 hours of care per week is $0.652 per hour, or$32.60 per week. l Eligibility: – you use approved or registeredchild care and – you are responsible for payingthe child-care fees for your child and – your child is immunised (or onan immunisation catch-up schedule) or is exempt from the immunisationrequirements and – you meet the residencyrequirements and – you meet the income test l Work, training, study test for Child Care Benefit: for more than 24 hours per week approved care, you and your partnerboth have work-related commitments for at least 15 hours a week (or 30 hours afortnight) or have an exemption from that requirement. You will satisfy the'work, training, study test' if you are on paid or unpaid leave, for up to amaximum of 12 months.
5.Parenting Paymentl Parenting Payment is paid tothe main carer of a child. Only one parent or guardian can receive the payment.You may be eligible to receive Parenting Payment if you: n are single and care for atleast one child aged less than eight n have a partner and care for atleast one child aged less than six l Benefit: If you have partner, themaximum fortnightly payment is $444.70. If you are single, the maximumfortnightly payment is $663.70, which includes the Pension Supplement basicamount. l Eligibility: – Income test for singleparents: For maximum payment, your income must beno more than $176.60, plus $24.60 for each additional child, per fortnight.Income over this amount reduces your payment by 40 cents in the dollar. – Income test for partneredparents: For maximum payment, your income must beno more than $62 per fortnight, and your partner’s income must be no more than$830 per fortnight. Your income reduces your payment by 50 cents for eachdollar between $62 and $250, and by 60 cents for each dollar above $250 perfortnight. Your partner’s income up to $830 per fortnight has no effect. Incomeover this limit reduces your payment by 60 cents for each extra dollar. – Assets test: Parenting Payment is not payable if assets exceed the amountslisted in “Chart A” (Check online for the Chart A). For example for “couple andhomeowner”, the assets test limit is $273 000.
