My husband is planning to baptise my son in a Christian Church that he goes to. But we would like to send him to a catholic school. Will they consider him a catholic or we are considered the same as non-catholic people?

No, they won't.

You can check the school website. Normally, Christian at the bottom of priority.
Also, It depends on the school. If the school is very popular, they won’t take any Christian

Usually they put priority to (but every school a bit different)

1). Whether brother or sister currently/previously enrolled in the school before
2). Students from Catholic schools in Priority Parishes
3). Catholic applicants who are resident in Priority Parishes
4). Catholic and Christian applicants outside Priority Parishes
5). Students from other religious denominations
