We like to say Happy New Year ！
One year of 365 days is about to be packed into a set of collected mermories.
We like to greet each other with the best hopes for the future！
Four seasons of beauty were held in our heart during 2018.
We ought to believe in whatever we want to believe in.

There were sunny days and rainy days in the past.
There were some depressing moments in 2018.
Will there be sunny days for the new year ？
Maybe not ！Some unfortunate things may manage to beset you  and hurt you.
The challenge is to stand firm and resolute when such things do happen.
Being positive best describes the attitude a human being can have and should have.
At the 2019 Chinese New Year Eve, I summarize some tips to guide me .
They are as follows:
Caring and giving, letting your gentle heart touch others
Giving your true heart to others and being generous with your kind words
Winning with dignity and losing with grace ……

Random Thoughts 1
Open the window in the center of your chest,and let the music fly in and out.
Music improves overall health and life quality. Music has such a deep and profound and deep impact on our minds and bodies. It helps in healing one’s soul and releasing the emotional built up of tension.
Listening to music is also said to decrease levels of the stress hormone cortisol in the body naturally leading to lesser stress which leads to lesser physical ailments and hence an improvement in overall life quality.

Random Thoughts 2
Today, I took a short walk after lunch. As I was walking across the park，a gust of wind swept by,
causing many small fallen leaves to flow with it in a wavy pattern. There, right in front of my eyes,
leaves nearly stayed still in the air for a fraction of a second and then slowly went back to the ground.
The leaves are broken but a beauty that lasts in any eye that sees the lasting beauty.
Colours on autumn leaves faded， washed out by the rain like memories，
gone with the wind quietly, hurried away. I thought to myself---This is deep autumn.

Mother’s Day is the perfect occasion to say thank you and to honor my mother-in-law.
What a special lady she is ！She is warm, kind, funny, loving, caring, supportive and smart.
She has a big heart and loves a good laugh, and above all she is a fabulous cook.
My mother in-law is very open-minded. She accepted me into the family with open arms.
She always has a kind word to say. She makes everyone feel special, especially me.
She always introduces me as her “daughter”， I couldn’t ask for a nicer compliment.
So, on this Mother’s Day, I want to say that it is such a joy and a blessing to have you in my life.
I love you- My second mother.

Random Thoughts 3
I think Charlie Teo is a legend.
Charlie Teo is outspoken and often does not conform to guys fellow neurosurgical colleagues.
The media profile he has probably hasn't helped him to be endeared by colleagues.
When you are told there is no more that can be done , your going to die . Would you not seek a second opinion ?
He has done more than any other person in this country to raise the awareness of this insidious disease and
give hope to so many people that there is a brighter future. This man is incredible,
his fight for a cure as well as his remarkable skill as a surgeon is nothing short of amazing .
We salute you Charlie .

She graduated from Columbia with a B.A. in history in 2000.

Liu Xin, 45,She attended Nanjing University,majored in English language and literature.

After graduating from college, she joined CCTV and later became an anchorwoman on CCTV's English language channel.

Hello London, nice to see you again！
Early in the morning I took the plane to London. It was a  wonderful flight.
There is one spectacle grander than the sea, that is the sky！
I was really tired and the clouds looked so cuddly. Like a sea of fluffy pillows.
when I arrived in London and instantly knew that I missed this city so much.
It was time to discover the city from another  angle.
Adventures start now ……

Without the stairs of the past, you cannot arrive at the future.
New years always give opportunities for reflecting, celebrating, and resolving to do things differently in the future.
Instead of jumping to ways that you could improve next year, give yourself credit
Think about and write down the two goals you accomplished this year that you’re the proudest of and why you’re proud of them.
Think back on my favorite moments this year. As with all of our challenges, they can be small moments.
No one accomplishes a huge task all at once. Break down these larger goals, into smaller goals.
365 new days. 365 new chances.
Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one～

Chinese New Year is considered to be the most important event in the Chinese calendar.
It is marked by the arrival of spring, and celebrates the end of one Chinese zodiac and the beginning of the next.
It's also the time where you gather with your family and friends, and stuff yourself silly with snacks and goodies.
During the New Year season, it is a common sight to see a sea of red. With vibrant clothing, scarlet packets,
and crimson lanterns and banners with touches of gold accents, red is undoubtedly the colour of the season.
This is because the colour red is considered to bring good luck and fortune to all.

The corona virus（wuhan）doesn’t infect through the skin.
They go into our breathing system via our mouth, eyes and nose,
often bcos our hands had touched a contaminated surface and bring that to our mouth, eyes and nose.
Hand hygiene is number one
Hence, hand hygiene is by far the most important way to prevent or break the transmission cycle.
So far, coronavirus tends to spread via contaminated droplets.
These are expelled from patients during coughs or sneezes, and don’t float around in the air.  
So an N95 mask in public places or family homes are not necessary.
Usually, if the viral load is low, our body immune defence system will be able to deal with the invading virus
or bacteria without trouble.
In short, let’s step up our hand hygiene - this is good practice even in normal times.
Let’s remain calm but watchful of developments, and stay prepared to respond without panic.
