I drove to Penrith today，It turned out that was an unforgettable experience.
I have two reasons to say it is unforgettable. First of all, I always, always trust google map.
No any trouble to find the best route through checking google map before starting a trip.  I keep my faith in google map until today，for my Penrith trip. However, the map guided me to a medical center instead of personal house.I completely have no idea how it happened. But it did. By asking several people for correct direction, I finally managed to arrive on time. I believe GPS will make driving much easier. However, I also think GPS makes drivers stupid. People tend to listen to it and follow it without remembering the route and direction. But this time, I have to say google map is stupid, so was I

We don't see anyone gets rich so fast and seems to live a lavish life without limits in there

about the gender difference from I have observed:
Many men smart in everything but women.
Men are slow to give boyhood while girls race to be women.
Men want conquests, women want permanent relationship of the diamond variety.
Men need only a place to have sex, women need a reason.
There are more bossy men at work, more bossy women at home.

Life is like this. Once one reaches an end, a new beginning always welcomes him/her, except death.

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, by Noah Yuval Harari. Both Melinda and I read this one, and it has sparked lots of great conversations at our dinner table. Harari takes on a daunting challenge: to tell the entire history of the human race in just 400 pages. He also writes about our species today and how artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, and other technologies will change us in the future. Although I found things to disagree with—especially Harari’s claim that humans were better off before we started farming—I would recommend Sapiens to anyone who’s interested in the history and future of our species.

I realized that each one of us is using different ways to be humorous.
I heard people talking about dry humors. It is more English way (European way) to express the way how humor is done.
No matter what kind of ways you approach to be humorous, easing on others, creating more friendly environment or building up tight relationships is always appreciated by people who received it if they can get your sense of humor or understand your purpose of doing so.

In the forest, there are healthy trees and dying trees. Trees are habitats for other organisms, such as fungus and birds. A healthy tree has few debris. A dying tree, on the other hand, provides a lot more nutrients. Many more organisms can live off a dying tree than a healthy tree.
Similarly a dying society can provide a lot more resources than a healthy society over a short period of time. In a healthy society, there are few drug addicts. There won't be many opportunities for social workers, physicians, academics and other professional helpers. To maintain their career opportunities, the professional helpers have to work very hard to create and maintain numerous physically and mentally ill. This is why when a society gets very sick, it is so difficult to recover.

It has been suggested that eating ice can aid in weight loss . The argument is very simple: it takes energy to melt ice. Thus, eating ice will burn more calories and reduce weight.
However, eating ice may generate certain behavioral and physiological responses in our bodies that will increase body weight. When we eat ice, our sensory system detects coldness. As a protective mechanism, our bodies may increase fat production to provide better insulation.
Eating ice and drinking cold drinks does burn calories. However, coldness generates many physiological responses in our bodies .For example, eating ice may induce us to eat more food to compensate for this energy loss.
In cold environments, animals often develop a very high fat content in their bodies. Similarly, those who drink cold beers often develop a beer belly

In books on exercises, we are told to breathe out when squatting down and to breathe in when standing up. Why?
When we squat down, our stomach pushes up against our lungs and squeeze or lungs.
So it’s natural to release the air from our lungs. When we stand up, our stomachs remove the pressure to our lungs and our lungs expand. So it’s natural to breathe in. Very simple!
By synchronizing our body movements with breathing, we can breathe out and in larger volume of air. This helps pump more oxygenated air into circulation. This also helps massage our internal organs more.

Our body’s resources are roughly divided into two parts, maintaining daily activities and repairing internal damages.
The distribution of resources depends on the urgency of external need and the need for internal repair.
When we are sick, our body will distribute more resources to internal repair. But if the external need is strong,
for example, to obtain food or fight off an enemy, there is no luxury to take care of internal need.
So even when we are sick, our body may not allocate much resources to healing.
To be healthy, we need to worry less about school work, about work and about others.

Now let’s discuss acupuncture. When we get a sharp object deep into our body?
It is usually when we get hurt very badly. Acupuncture tricks our body to think we are very sick and summons our body to allocate much more resources to healing than otherwise.
That is how acupuncture works, I think. The mechanism of immunization is similar. They all try to stimulate the body’s reaction.
For ordinary people, can we obtain the same effect as acupuncture, but in a less dramatic way? Yes. Most exercises cause tissue damage and hence stimulate repair mechanism. Massaging and patting hard on our body achieve similar goals.
