谢谢楼上的各位。今天和女儿认真谈了，刚开了个头就在那抹眼泪，好像认定我会反对，看来我这个妈妈不称职啊。后来按照大家的意见，表明如果是真的有兴趣会支持她的，在目前不是非常确定的情况下，利用课余时间学下再决定。现在虽然没有表态，但情绪稳定多了。有谁知道业余学理发或西点的地方吗？
记得去年我有个朋友的儿子读10年级，也是吵着要去TAFE学厨师，不打算考HSC了。父母也是很着急。后来孩子自己改主意了，今年主动要求补习功课，要考HSC了。
我儿子（九年级）其实对做饭很感兴趣，所以从去年12月开始周一到周五给我们全家做晚餐。我总是跟他说：不要上学了，16岁之后就去学厨师，早点出来挣钱吧。但越这么说他越说要上大学。呵呵，这么大的孩子，其实很少有知道自己要干什么的，但很多都知道要跟家长唱反调。
假期马上又要到了，我今天正好在搜给半大孩子提供的烹饪课程。只搜到下面这两个。感觉第一个不错。
1. Paris International Cooking School

During the school holiday, we have General Cooking Workshop in the morning and Pastry & Cake Workshop in the afternoon. Morning Class

cost: $190.00 (5 days, including ingredients)
For safety reason the minimum age for the Teenagers workshops is 10 years old.
No upper age.
Our workshops are fully practical, students in group of four are fully involved from food preparing, cooking to serving. Our workshops are not cooking demos, students are not sitting there and watching us.
Advanced teenagers are welcome to attend our regular Cooking Classes (weekly class, over 9-week period) if they are age 16 and over.

Release the Mini Master Chef... We are running 5 hour hands on classes, teaching the Mini Master Chef the basics of soups, sauces, cooking breakfast, pitta bread, pumpkin & fetta bread, pasta and more. This holiday we have two types of classes the second class is more desserts and a few new dishes. 9.30-2.30pm Children from 7-16 years old. We supply aprons, morning tea, lunch and drinks. No need to bring anything.
