几首我喜欢的英文诗

春来草自青

我读的英文诗不多，大多数还是硬着头皮读下来的，很多英文诗读几节就放弃了，这当然是我的英文水平阻碍了对英文诗的欣赏。但有一些诗歌，即使我的英文一般般，也能一下感受到其扑面而来的诗歌精神，一把抓住我，吸引我克服那些文字困难读下去并反复阅读。它们是干干净净的纯粹的诗歌，在英文世界贡献给人类的宝贝。 读着这些诗，我又生出了一个愿望:希望能遇到一个会朗诵或吟诵这些英文诗歌的人，听到它们变成声音,那应该是轻风或狂风的声音...


第一首是Dylan Thomas的“And Death Shall Have No Dominion”，这位只活了39岁的英国诗人似乎很早就感受到死亡和超乎死亡之物了。



And death shall have no dominion.                                     死亡也一定不会战胜
Dead men naked they shall be one                                     赤条条的死人一定会
With the man in the wind and the west moon;                           和风中的人西天的月合为一体；
When their bones are picked clean and the clean bones gone,        等他们的骨头被剔净而干净的骨头又消灭，
They shall have stars at elbow and foot;                           他们的臂肘和脚下一定会有星星；
Though they go mad they shall be sane,                             他们虽然发狂却一定会清醒，
Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again;            他们虽然沉沦沧海却一定会复生；
Though lovers be lost love shall not;                              虽然情人会泯灭爱情却一定长存；

相当精屁，看了就想睡

上面的译诗是巫宁坤翻译的，还是不错的译诗，但是， 还要读原文才能感受到诗中的力量。我觉得这首诗配上摇滚乐可能很合适，由LED  ZEPPELIN 或GUN N ROSE 的吉他来表现诗中奔腾而出的激情。
