请教旧房推倒建新房，房子与邻居围栏距离问题

邻居的house和我的一样，都是土地面积809平方米，面宽20米。现在邻居要推倒房子，建两个面宽各10米的两层house，因房子要离我们的fence只有1米，需要我们签字同意（如离1.5米则无需我们同意），我今天表示1米太近，我们今后盖房也会离fence1.5米. 邻居不高兴地说即使我们不同意，他们还会向council申请，虽然有点麻烦，但还是会批准的，你们今后盖房子或卖房子麻烦就多了。。。

现在不知如何是好，请懂行的大神赐教，谢谢！ 分分送上

签的是asset protection吧？是不是已经拆房，就要开工了啊。

旧房子还没推倒哪。他们想先不分割，旧房子推倒后，靠边建一栋，把另一栋房子的地留出来。这样可以先不用交分割的费用。

很多时候要看情况的。如果没有道理，一味反对，那天自己要建房了。就傻了。

也要看你所在区的ZONE， 是高密度的， 还是中密度， 低密度的。 都是有具体规定的。 高密度的ZONE， 墙都可以在地界的，
