（1）纠正，改正

（1）打破，使破裂

（3）破坏，违反
Any one who breaks the law should be punished.

Too、as well一般不用于否定句
否定句用either.
3、suit 动词，始于
（1）适合，适宜于
Finding a place that suits us all is very difficult.找到一个适合于我们所有人的地方是很困难的。
（2）相当，
He would not be suited to the job.他不适合干那份工作。
4、pretty 形容词，漂亮的
5、be in fashion，时髦，流行
6、Would you like。。。？你愿意。。。吗？这个句型用于表示委婉的请求或提议。
      Would you like to go with us?你乐意与我们一起去吗？
7、could you....?您能...吗？用于表示请求，比Candidates You。。。？更加婉转客气。
      Could you tell me the way to the post office?您能告诉我去邮局怎么走吗？
8、like that one,像那件那样的。是介词短语，作定语，修饰dress。
9、compare 动词，比较、对照
    That article  compares the different features of imported cars on the market.
     这篇文章比较了市场上进口汽车的不同特点。

1、idea 名词，主意
2、a little少许，一些，一点，用于修饰不可数名词
just a little,please 请稍加一点，
A little money/water/coffee 一点钱/水/咖啡；
不可数名词的多与少，用much与little 表达；
3、teaspoonful 名词，一满茶勺
teaspoonfuls,在英语中，比1大的东西，即使比2小，也需要用复数。
4、less，形容词，较少的，更小的
5、a few 几个，则用于可数名词

（1）作为替代

I like this television very much.
How much does it cost?
It's the most expensive model in the shop.
It costs five hundred pounds.
That's too expensive for us.
we can't afford all that money.
This model's less expensive than that one.
It's only three hundred pounds.
But ,of course,it's not as good as the expensivie one.
I don't like this model.
The other model's more expensive,but it's worth the money.
can we buy it on instalments?
Of course. You can pay a deposit of thirty pounds.
and then fourteen pounds a month for three years.
Do you like it,dear?
I certainly do, but I don't like the price.
You always want the best,but we can't afford it.
Sometimes you think you're a millionaire.
Millionaires don't buy things on instalments!

when my husband was going into the dining room this morning.
He dropped some coins on the floor.
There were coins everywhere.
We looked for them,but we could not find them all.
while we were having breakfast.
Our little boy ,Tommy, found two small coins on the floor.
He put them both into his mouth.
we both tried to get the coins,but it was too late.
Tommy had already swallowed them.
Late that morning,When I was doing the housework.
My husband phoned me from his office.
'How's Tommy?'he asked
'I don't know',I answered
'Tommy's been to the toilet three times this morning,but I haven't had any change yet!'

I want to tell you a true story.
It happened to a friend of mine a year ago.
while my friend,George,was reading in bed.
Two thieves climbed into hie kitchen.
After they had entered the house,they went into the dining room.
It was very dark.so they turned on a torch.
Suddenly,they heard a voice behind them.
'what's up?what's up?'someone called
the thieves dropped the torch and ran away as quickly as they could.
George heard the noises and came downstairs quickly.
He turned on the light ,but he couldn't see anyone.
The thieves had already gone.
But George's parrot,Henry,was still there.
'what's up ?George',he called
'Nothing,Henry',George said and smiled.
'Go back to sleep'.

最近家里杂事多，学习时间用基本保证每天一小时，不会苦练的，如果逼迫自己苦练，那很快就会失去兴趣的，学习的乐趣在于细水长流。

MIKE：That's the man I told you about. Remember?
SCOTT：Ah yes. The one who offered you a job in Australia.
MIKE：That's right.
