Carpe diem is a phrase from a Latin poem by Horace that has become an aphorism.
It is popularly translated as "seize the day".
I learned this word from the movie "Dead Poets Society". It is an old movie and very inspirational. I learned a lot from it.
I recommend it.

Chinese and Australian mixed style is my favorite.
Mom always told me to wear dress + skirt more like a lady.So I have a lot of skirts both long & short,thick & thin.
My favourite is cool summer style.I have a red/orange plaid skirt that I really like,
It looks more a canyon color than red, which I want to wear with a pink light sweater and black heels.
Black shoes don't sound a good choice though. Any light colored ones will be better than black，
the black color might be a little bit gloomy in  comparison with the other part.
I will wear my light brown heels.I am hoping it will look playful and fun but not too attention seeking

I lost my voice，Silence, silence is golden.Well, if I  can choose, I don't want silence, I don't care Golden or not.
I almost  visited a doctor due to flu. My body should be able to take care of it.
It generally takes a week or so for a full recovery.I can live with that.
I am doing OK with the current my tasks. As a terrible multi-tasker,
just wish I could have 2+ bodies so that I can play/learn/work freely in both the virtual world and the reality.

Throughout  last summer，I swam over 80 miles.
That's the distance of 3 marathons
I feel better and my body is more toned.
The best thing is, I truly enjoy swimming.

A work colleague I saw her couple of times at work. Smile and nod were we usually greeting each other.
Today she starts to talk to me: “ let me ask you something. How much arguement is too much ? ”
I didn’t catch it at first and asked her to repeat. I couldn’t imagine she was asking my opinion about that.
I said: couples? she nodded. I said: it’s difficult to say. Depends on what kind of arguments
they are and how that affects your life. She said, “We argue almost every day”. She was apparently quite upset.
I said to her: maybe you want to slow down the relationship ? All I can say at the moment was,
he must make you happy some other way. With tears, she hugged me and took off. sigh
what in the world do I know? And since when did I became a relationship counselor ?
