AutoCAD/REVIT experienced Draftsperson is required

Bello Constructions Pty Ltd is a residential builder specialising in quality boutique developments in Melbourne's South East.  Due to ongoing growth and increasing sales, an AutoCAD/REVIT experienced Draftsperson is required for expanding our design and documentation capabilities.

Reporting to the Operation Manager, key duties & responsibilities of this role will include:

·         Preparation of contract / construction plans from scratch as directed
·         Design, development and detailing of drawings for construction
·         Working drawings including floor plans, elevations, internal elevations, shadow and overlooking diagrams
·         The ability to check contract drawings, construction drawings and engineering for consistency, buildability and company preferred building techniques
·         Liaising with all aspects of the organisation as required
·         Resolving site queries from construction and liaising with consultants and developers.
·         Applications of building permits as required
·         Assisting in preliminary design and planning documentation as required
·         Assist with ongoing development and implementation of improved efficiencies in work practices
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

·         At least 1 years' experience in drafting roles in the residential building industry
·         High level proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT
·         Demonstrate knowledge of VIC ResCode the BCA Building Regulations 2006  and Australian standards in residential construction
·         A Diploma of Building design or equivalent tertiary education in design, drafting or similar
·         Excellent construction knowledge for buildability and sequencing on site
·         The ability to multi-task and have a flexible and adaptable approach are pivotal to being successful in this role.
·         Strong attention to detail.
·         Ability to work under pressure and manage timeframes to achieve deadlines.
