Join this successful design led Australian wholesale and retail business in an integral production role.  Working collaboratively within a small and dynamic team you will be involved in all functions of the production cycle, with a focus on offshore production.
This is a high quality brand with sustainability as well as innovative and functional design at its core.  Play a key role in bringing their products to both Australian and International markets.

Key responsibilities include:

•        Implementing seasonal sampling and production cycles
•        Supporting the Production Manager in communications with offshore suppliers
•        Assisting in the co-ordination of import and freight forwarding
•        Preparing and monitoring sample and bulk production purchase orders
•        Co-ordinating production schedules and maintaining timely deliveries
•        Assisting in the development of technical specification packs for offshore production
•        Monitoring of fittings and communicating instructions with offshore suppliers
•        Maintaining quality control procedures

To be considered for this position you will ideally have experience in offshore production processes gained in a similar role and be able to confidently communicate with offshore suppliers and manufacturers. Mandarin/Cantonese language skills, both written and spoken will be preferred, but not essential.  

In addition, you will be a proficient user of Excel and ideally Adobe Illustrator.  This is a dynamic fast-paced business so it’s important to take a flexible approach, managing priorities well and efficiently co-ordinating production requirements within tight timeframes.  

Outstanding administrators with limited or no production experience will be considered and training provided.
