刚刚給持红P的老婆买了GOLF 90TSI 1.4L TURBO, 刚刚开了一个月，今天老婆下班被警察拦下，当场506刀罚单，理由是P牌不能开TURBO的车，就算1.4L的小车也不行。
于是我感到现场，老婆不能开1.4L的小车，反可以开我的3.6L的大SUV，我的大车无论从体积还是从马力上讲，都是这个小车的2.5 到3倍啊，这是哪个王八蛋定的法律啊。
真她妈的气死了啊，从来没有听说过的规定啊，问了很多朋友也都不知道。
怎么办，老婆还需要3年多才可以拿到FULL, 小车刚买1个月，还是全新的，卖肯定亏不少，只有我开小车老婆开大车了，这样太不方便和麻烦了，他娘了。。。所以说：绝对王八蛋法规，逼得200斤大爷们开1.4L小车100斤娇小娘子开3.6L大SUV。

同时请教大虾，我感觉这个规定10有89的人不知道，也许我知道太少，所以问一下，我可以上诉吗，上法庭需要我交钱吗，该怎么做？

谢谢。今天已经拿到rta的approved exemption 信了，目前的困惑是，那个罚单要不要扣分啊，这个罚单不是general的那种，general 的那种在罚款金额下会有一行显示该罚单是否涉及扣分，一般警察会在这里写上扣多少分，但我的这个罚单叫nsw police force penalty notice, 罚款金额下没有扣分显示。
如果扣7分的话，那么老婆的驾照就被注销了，目前怎么办，离交款到期日还有一个半周时间，是直接找缴款的地方说呢还是直接上法庭，如果找这个state debt recovery office 交涉不成功是不是还可以上法庭。谢谢

Prohibited vehicles
The prohibited vehicle condition restricts provisional (P1 and P2) drivers from driving certain high performance vehicles. The condition applies to provisional licences issued on or after 11 July 2005. The scheme aims to prohibit young driver access to vehicles that are overrepresented in young driver crashes.

Prohibited vehicles are those with:

Eight or more cylinders.
A turbocharged engine (except diesel).
A supercharged engine (except diesel).
Engine performance modifications that require an engineers' certificate.
Certain high performance six cylinder engine vehicles or other vehicles as described in the publication Novice Drivers - High Performance Vehicle Restrictions.
The following vehicles are not prohibited vehicles and may be driven by provisional licence holders:

Suzuki Cappuccino 2D Cabriolet Turbo 3 698cc (released between 1/01/1992 - 1/12/1997).
Daihatsu Copen L880 2D Convertible Turbo 4 659cc (released from 1/10/2003).
Smart vehicles (all models).

好像是说P牌不能开超出一定排量的T，1.4T只能算economic car，不能算performance car的。楼主可以查查当地的交规。

Please note that even if the vehicle is classified as a moderate performance vehicle, the vehicle is still regarded as a prohibited vehicle and an exemption to drive the vehicle must be approved and obtained from Roads and Maritime Services before the holder of a provisional licence is able to drive the vehicle. .

One passenger exemption
An exemption from the one passenger condition will be only granted in exceptional circumstances. You must provide reasons why you have an exceptional circumstance to have your exemption request considered.

Peer passenger exemption
An exemption from the peer passenger condition may be granted if:

You are required as part of your employment responsibilities to transport passengers between 11pm and 5am and more than one of these passengers is, or likely to be, under 21 years of age.
You can demonstrate a need to drive certain immediate family members between 11pm and 5am and there are no alternative options.
You volunteer in community service work (eg Lifeline counselling) that requires the transport of passengers between 11pm and 5am and more than one of these passengers is, or likely to be, under 21 years of age.
Further information on how to apply for a prohibited vehicle or passenger condition exemption is available on the Application for Exemption: Peer Passenger, One Passenger or Prohibited Vehicle Condition.

You must notify Roads and Maritime Services within 14 days if you have changed any circumstances which affect your exemption, including if you no longer require the exemption or if the exemption letter needs replacing. A further fee may apply.

只能怪楼主你孤陋寡闻，而且身边的朋友孤陋寡闻。
其实开大车挺好的，视野好，其他车也不敢欺负你。我老婆当初学开车的时候就是开holden captiva，现在改成更大的车，游刃有余。

楼主，有一个办法，喊你老婆回中国办一超过过三年的驾照过来，到这边直接翻译后就可以直接拿full license了:

torbo车加速快，的确不适合新手开

你把那个网页看完呀。。。上面有告诉你怎么申请的。。
申请了P牌就能开那个车了（只能开申请的那辆），但是你没申请之前的罚款是要交的
另外我不是大哥。。。

你好大哥，这个申请豁免是什么意识？就是去RTA申请，让我老婆将来还可以开这个车，但是罚款还是得交，是这样吗，谢谢

卖车的必须要知道的
我拿P牌的时候去看过Audi A1，dealer特地跟我说P牌要去申请exemption，还说如果买这个车，提车的时候要叫朋友来开走，因为RTA的exemption还没拿到

我听说过P牌的XX岁以下的不能开T的车，再详细的就不知道了。

L牌可以，因为是旁边坐着的full licence负责

可以去RTA申请豁免，随便给个理由，我当时是写要接送小孩，必须用车，RTA收了70多块，后来还寄回给我了。听说可以网上申请，搜搜这方便的贴子。

我考L牌的时候，交规，考试里都没提到这一条。

看来确实有点搞笑。

L牌的更是杀手，居然可以开T，而P不行。。。

你好，我的车型号在那个EXEMPTION里面，这样就具备去RTA申请EXEMPTION的条件了吗，还需要别的什么理由吗，谢谢你
